Well I've got mine (via mail order) and it's going back

It's scatched and covered in dust. Almost as if it's been "previously" used perhaps at christmas last year, taken back and they've re packaged it (the packaging is pristine but the contents not) and left if on a warehouse shelf for next Christmas.
