Blatchat links not working at the moment.

Burton Power P Clips look good. What size/width do I need/would you recommend?

Thanks for the responses - much appreciated.

The caged cage is 32mm diameter, so thats what I got. Didn't see a width fitting.

I have yet to decide on which mirrors, what made you chose Spa ?

They seem to make a good quality mirror in many shapes and sizes (so more chance of finding exactly what you want or like) and the convex mirrors I have seen in use are good quality with very little distortion.

I e-mailed them recently for information and they responded very quickly and were extremely helpful. It made me feel like they wanted my custom.

Nothing more scientific than that really!

I like that science smile

Was thinking about the Spa Saloon, had the Formula previously and there were a little small.

Still not sure about centre mirror. The Longacre HUGE one looks interesting, but perhaps a little big smile

The longacre does look huge! I think it can be bought in different lengths, but still pretty big!

I think I am going to go with a ‘normal’ sized convex mirror to begin with, and then see how I get on with it, rather than going straight for the ‘sun strip’ sized mirror straight off!

The most important part is securing them to the rollcage effectively - which once blatchat is back up, I can hopefully do.

Any suggestions for centre mirror ? Racetech and Spa both have stalks.

www.rallydesign.co.uk do some good value 'spa style' mirrors (no idea if they have cage mounts but worth asking).

Hello Tom,

I'm not being unfaithful to the Caterham Forum, honest!

Just using the collective wisdom of others. How's the build progressing?

Mark.

I asked the original question in the 2nd Blatchat link, I ended up going for rubber lined 32mm P-Clips from e-bay, cheap and work well.

Nice job on the mirror mounts Arnie. However when I did the academy they forbade any modifications to the roll cage. You'd be best off checking with your eligibility scrutineer before embarking on such a job yourself
