Hi, does anyone know if there is a bodywork company in or around the St Albans area that would be able to work on my car. A very nice lady in a people carrier reversed into me a couple of days ago. Minimal damage but I would like someone who knows what they are doing to repair it.

With Arch and TSK only about an hour away why would you take it anywhere else?

+1 for Chris @ Workshop - I've also previously used RatRace and I'd still recommend 7 Workshop smile

In the end I went to the 7 Workshop. Seems like a good place and he had a good selection of cars being worked on.

All the guys mentioned sub their body repair work out. Easier really to find out who they use and approach them directly. Just a chance too that going direct might save you some money.

Did one of you guys have the exposed belts in the engine (along with bits of what looked like a tree)? Car looked great, apart from the tree damage! Looks like quite a great deal of care had gone into the build.

There was a bike engined car, got to love the sequencal box, although the GSXR engine would scream and get on my nerves. But I think the air intake will look great on the nose.

Also there was a part built older car painted bright green. The colour might sound wrong but looked fantastic.

Ah, yes.

Bit of learning experience on the induction system, it has only taken a couple of years thinking smile

We were going with Reverie, but they refused to send even a GRP sample aixbox to see if it would fit. It is all very tight even with the inlets turned horizontal with the swan necks. And at £1500+ for something that might not fit.....and the front blister (a la Meaden Fireblade) was a no go as the oil cooler gets in the way of the ducting.

Pipercross were happy to send us a PX600 airbox to check. So quite happy as nearly a grand saved smile
