I have ordered an R400 duratec, and I have been considering the Raceline dry sump. I'm hesitant because I was told that the block would need to be ground out for the pump to fit. But then I read something that sounded like this is no longer the case (on blatchat).

Has anyone recently installed a Raceline dry sump in a duratec? What was your experience? Did you order the kit from Caterham, or piece everything together yourself?

Thanks!

The blocks do NOT have to be ground out any more, the pumps are now machined ready to fit.

Thanks! I've been on the fence regarding the dry sump, and this helps my decision.

I received the dry sump kit, however there doesn't appear to be any documentation or installation instructions included. Does anyone have any guidance on the installation? My car hasn't arrived yet, so I'm not in any big hurry, but I was surprised at the lack of documentation. Has anyone documented their install?

The write up does not show the drysump that is being fitted by Jake.
