This is almost certainly John Bell. Local to Berkhamsted/Chesham and his 21 is yellow.
Whilst my 21 also lives in Berkhamsted, it was the victim of an accident (other party admitted liability) and is being rebuilt at the moment(nor is mine yellow). There is another one locally, near Tring.

Regarding Caterham21.com the server has been hacked so no information available there.
Regarding the aliuminium bodied ones: correct, the first was sold to Japan, the second is still owned by the maker of the bodywork, Roach Engineering.

Continually tempted by one of these. Gorgeous looking cars and they have at least a veneer of practicality compared to the Seven.
Anyone got any idea how they'd compare to something like a Fisher Fury? It's a very similar concept, but I can imagine the detail engineering is rather better with Caterham (at least based on the average builder - forget Caterham's Mecano-style construction, my dad's had to do quite a bit of metal fabrication and fiberglassing on his Sylva Stylus...) Something like that with a water-tight hood and a decent boot would be very tempting.

Yes, that's mine. I was the victim of an accident where the other party (in a very new Audi Q7) drove away as I got out to assess the damage they'd just caused to the rear bodywork...
Toyless, I don't know what you're implying

If TJ buys a Seven, will he have to change his moniker to Caterjim?
I also owned a red 21 for 5 years, chassis no 5, which I installed a 225bhp Vx engine and C/R BGH box into, did a bit of sprinting with it, but could never get the corning sorted to my satisfaction. It was fine in normal driving but tended to understeer a bit when on the limit on track, although it could have been the boat anchor up front.
The car is over Finland with Vinnie now.
