Maybe, perhaps, I didn't quite fix the poppers as accurately as I might have done, but whatever it's done now. Thing is, I find that after a bit of a downpour, that rainwater collects on top of the tonneau and I have to be very careful how I remove it in order not to decant the wetness into the cockpit (or my feet).
I've noticed that the SoftBitsForSevens tonneau has a "lifter" to raise the centre of the cover and let water drain away, but the standard CC version has no such improvement.
I was thinking a Heath-Robinson contraption, involving a bulldog clip and a length of string attached to the roll-cage, or a stick of appropriate length between transmission tunnel and tonneau.
Anyone else have a clever solution to this problem?

If you're talking Heath Robinson....
As I have an s-type seat with headreat and I don't have pockets/ears for the headrest on my tonneau I simply remove the headreat turn it upside down and wedge it between the tunnel top and the middle of the tonneau. Simples.
I do the same. Intact it's like that as we speak due to forecast rain.As I have an s-type seat with headreat and I don't have pockets/ears for the headrest on my tonneau I simply remove the headreat turn it upside down and wedge it between the tunnel top and the middle of the tonneau. Simples.

That's not a bad idea at all. I'd removed the headrests since getting the tonneau, as mine doesn't have "pockets" either but I do miss having something to lean back on.As I have an s-type seat with headreat and I don't have pockets/ears for the headrest on my tonneau I simply remove the headreat turn it upside down and wedge it between the tunnel top and the middle of the tonneau. Top tip.
