I'm thinking of selling my Caterham vinyl roof as I have a SBFS Half Hood. This'll leave me with unused hood sticks weighing down my back end (all grams of them).

If I remove the hood sticks, but keep the original boot cover, how does it sit? Badly and baggy, or does it look alright?

Badly! Leave the hood sticks in place for now, and order the correct boot cover from Caterham. They do a shallow version for fitting without hood sticks.

Thanks, I had thought it might.

Don't Caterham want ~£100 for a new boot cover though? I might just keep the sticks on for that!

It's simple. Just order a bootcover from Softbits in the same fabric as the halfhood.
