Any RKE 1800cc x/flow owners on here?

I'm looking for anyone who might have a spare piston ref 'Accralite 1183XC859' marked 2 and 4?

Before I go down the Zetec route I'm still considering re-building my x/flow after I found the following in my sump and a piston that looks like

Aero,
Accrilite will supply via Burtons pistons to RKE's spec, only down side is I think they will only suply in sets of four.

Already spoken to Accralite, who will make them, but only with a minimum order of 12 units

That's funny things must have changed, I rebuilt a 1800 RKE over the winter and was quoted for a set of 4.. Sorry.

The other option is liner it back to 85mm, which pistons are readily avalible at. I assume it needs a bore anyway and if it is at 85.9mm? which I think those pistons are, I certainly wouldn't go any further. I have had AX blocks fail at 85.9mm and I wouldn't go that big out of choice.

That's interesting I might just try going through Burtons then. The annoying this is, I have a spare no. 3, but it would just have to be no. 4 that's gone pop!

If I go the Zetec route would you be interested in buying the others as spares?

I wouldn't be interested in the spares but the person I rebuilt the motor for might, I ask.
