Redline and limiter

Can anyone tell me what the redline should be on an R400 Duratec.
Also is there a limiter that enforces this or do i just need to be careful!
On track at pembrey tomorrow - first time with R400 - yippee!

The standard R400D has a soft cut at 7800 and a hard cut at 7900. Unless you do some bad down changes you won't go over 8000 RPM. The ACES unit can record higher readings but these are not accurate and (I believe) are generated by the ECU for tachometer to provide a smooth signal.
