A Problem with my Pink!

Does anyone know where the the pink wire from the electronic box behind on the bulkhead-drivers side terminates? It comes from the mutli connector from the box, its been terminated before as the end has been striped. Havent got a wiring diagram so not able to trace it.

Also there is a small black diode of some sort hanging down above the ignition column any ideas whats this is for.

Cant get the car started, it does everything but spark. Wondering if the above, more so the pink wire could be a sensor wire or something.

I've just taken out all the superfluous wires in the loom on my car and the pink wire was not attached, iirc its the aerial for the immobilser

Ah!! Its an R300 VVC, 2006. Imob ariel rings a bell for some reason.
