As had been said before, who cares.
The personal attacks that were made directly to me, and about me on blatchat made me feel like not bothering.
However the vast majority of people welcome my advice, and the help I provide to them as an AO.
I just let the people who make silly comments, carry on making them and they just go away!!
It is fun sometimes to go fishing though!!

So, I think I have my head round this one .....
1. A couple of L7C members have a spat at each other and the comments on here reflect that BC is obviously not the place to be because it's all that goes on?
2. Another member has previously had a spat at others, trading unnecessary and serious insults, has his posting rights removed and therefore moves over here, followed by comments on here reflecting that BC is obviously not the place to be because it's all that goes on?
Ironic really, maybe even hypocritical.

I was a member on blatchat and the club for many years, left around 2 years ago. I still read it now and then but to me its a sterile forum now its members only... the good old debates have gone and when one does kick off its suppressed by the management team. Forums are for debates, and airing views...
Just look at the recent threads on there where that nutter PC correct woman was posting! They should have let if go on, instead it looks to have got suppressed by the management behind closed doors.
Blatchat members would be better moving onto here! Looks like a lot already have!

As mentioned, not been there for 8 years (so have NO comments regarding BC these days), but when I was last there it had many people 'who knew better' rather than 'who could help', which is why I left. 1. PH is bonkers, and mostly useless, but (apart from the lounge), is a much kinder place to be.

To be fair to the management of BC they were put in a position where they had to be seen to respond as said person had made a complaint about certain people. I think they handled it sensibly. Well at least that was my experience. Edited by Smollet on Wednesday 14th July 21:18

Have to say I haven't found any problems on Blatchat. In fact after I very gingerly introduced myself a couple of people popped up and said "don't worry, we're not as bad as you hear on Pistonheads". 
That said, I've yet to see it offering much more than this section of the [free] PH forum and I find the navigation/design a bit clumsy on BC. The main reason I took out L7C membership was the insurance discount with my current insurer...
