I am over in the US and you can't just walk in to a Halfords and pick up an oil filter or brake pads for a Seven with ease..
I have a Duratec car with standard brakes. Trying to see what I can find locally (as in mail-order too) for brakes and oil filter. My digging has pulled up Performance Friction 719's (same as Formula Ford) pads for the front but not sure what to look for for the rears. Type of car(s) originally for the rear caliper would be a starting point (80's Sierra Xr4 rears? or equivalent?) or better still some actual part numbers for cross reference, whether it be for Pagid, Mintex, Performance Friction and the like. For the oil filter, it being stubby, not sure if I will find an available one here easily. Is it a Caterham only supplied item or are there others that will do the trick, again makes and part numbers would be perfect..
For oil, 0w-50, only Castrol Syntec so far, but I think that'll work fine..
Thanks,
Adam
