I left a couple of years back, stayed even after became members only, and regulary lurk because many subjects are of interest. (I now have an opinon on why this might be) but no real idea why it is the way it is, it just comes across as not very nice forum to be part of anymore.

The bloke should just answer the question instead of evading and having his wife post BS.

EFA, you realise your ironically illustrating my previous post.

The level of anonymity on a public forum has been removed, everyone knows everyone and their personality, therefore it is easy to pick squabbles and disagreements either correctly or incorrectly, these are dealt with very emotionally and people pick one side or the other in every argument.

With more public involvement most issues like on this forum end up being lost in the pure number of posts, joviality, piss taking and lack of credability generally assigned to internet posting.

On blatchat that element has gone, so every point has meaning and emotion directly attached to it. There are not enough balanced points of view and the lack of maturity that is apparent in all internet forums is highlighted and very evident on Blatchat.

Arnie

Unless Norm et friends have been made directors, "666 road racing ltd" was incorporated in 2007, so I doubt he has any (direct) financial interest...

It's a useful resource, but unfortunately there's a reason it's oft referred to as twatchat

I like BC. It's fun. Don't always agree with it but I don't let it bother me.

I find Techtalk at times very helpful and at others totally banal, as for the Chitchat posts a lot of the time they just leave me shaking my head at the ego's and pettiness.
There is also an arrogance that only 7 drivers can drive properly, people posting they have seen drivers holding the steering wheel in the wrong place.
I only retain membership for the offers and insurance discounts which I suppose is a little mercenary and hypercritical, none of us are perfect, obviously not me.
