Additional earthing points on car?
Discussion
Being an eletrical dunce, is it a bad thing to add loads of extra earthing points to my car?
Specifically, I was thinking of going from the engine loom earth point (on the block near the water rail), direct to the battery earth, then using an additional cable from the battery earth direct to the chassis?
At present, my earths are from the starter to the battery, and from the engine (around the coil) to the OSF engine mount on the chassis.
I'm also thinking of directly grounding the ECU to the battery.
Has anyone got any reasons not to do this?
Also, any recommendations for a decent (i.e. min 100A) FIA battery master switch at a sensible price?

An earth strap from the negative battery terminal to the chassis is good. Keep it as short as possible. I drilled and tapped a hole on the square chassis member right next the the battery.
