My oil catch tank is getting quite full, I'm going to empty shortly. Any tips on an easy way to do this? Haven't done it before and not a peep in the owner's manual. I've not taken the nose off to look at how it is mounted and whether it has a drain plug, but I assume it will be annoying. smile

assuming you have the opaque one, click off the cover which has the black pipe. slide tank up its rails. empty. don't make a mountain out of a molehill....

if its mounted the same place as mine its not easy to get too, you might need to remove he top oil pipe that goes to the header tank to get it out, which is what I have to do to drain mine.

When I get time I am going to resite it some where that does not need to take the nose cone off every time.

Mine is probably mounted in the same place - just behind the dry sump tank on the left hand side. Conveniently under the nose cone as you say. smile

Did it last night - as Nigel mentioned the pipe that runs from the oil cooler to the dry sump tank obstructs getting the catch tank out. You need a big spanner to get the pipe out, my adjustable spanner on its biggest setting only just got around the nut.
