sump clearance Duratec wet sump?

having cracked the sump again, whats the clearance off the floor for the Duranail boys?

About 85mm on mine. Mind you I have cracked mine once too....

You don't want to go below 130mm on the front rails for road use IMHO. That will clear most speed bumps at low speed.

Like you I hit my sump hard on saturday [on a bleeding loose cats eye] but my sumps steel so it only dented
It's the first time I've hit it real hard, and I always have the wife with me in the 7 whilst blatting on Welsh 'B' roads. Til now I've set the sump clearance to 80mm [3.1/4"] but when I get my engine fixed I intend resetting to 85mm easy with adjustable front platform shocks
