Thinking of getting either Caterham half sidescreens or halfdoors from soft bits for sevens.
Anyone any experience of these or indeed both?
SBFS are half the price but are made from soft material rather than hard material from Caterham.
Want something nice and easy to fit and remove.

I have got the CC half doors with the semi-rigid top bar and they are great for use with aero'ing and make a lot of difference to the amount of water and crud that gets into the cockpit if you run without them. Not sure about the SBFS ones but I tend to fit the top bar useful as it "gives" slightly if you are a bit big and you lean against them

I've had the SBFS half-doors for many years. They are made so that you can insert your own 'top-bar' to strengthen them. Contrary to public opinion there is plenty of room even without the CC 'bulge'.

I tend not to bother with side doors unless it's cold or wet, which means that they can be rolled up and stored in the boot taking up virtually no space compared to the CC ones.

Just my 2p and experiences

I can't be bothered to purchase them at all, don't use them enough as I have a.n.other solution.

Take the Tonneau cover, unzip.

Fold down the excess from the centre zip beside the driver's & pax seats.

Done.

Recently I've fitted the caterham half doors to mine, what a pain the arse job that was. Not helped by caterham midlands selling me doors with no poppers included at a higher price then buying a half door kit from caterham online. Anyway I digress, they look great though and make a big difference to the wind that circulates in the car.
