Weather gear and wind deflectors for R400 SV
Discussion
Had some great advice from evs777 on weather gear but wondered if anyone had any similar experience or thoughts.
Recently got an R400 SV (which by the way is the best car I have ever driven on the road) and want to get some weather gear.
I dont plan on going out and about in heavy rain so just want something in case I get caught.
Options are a complete weather kit from Caterham (hood and sidescreens) or half hood and half door from "soft bits for sevens". Problem with that last option is will a half door be enough.
Was also thinking of draught reducer from sbfs and/or wind deflector kit from caterham.

If you're running a full screen you'll be wanting to keep the full height sidescreens. Otherwise the screen causes a huge vortex at speed, making it quite hard to breathe and throwing your head around. For rain protection that's quick and easy to deploy the Softbits half hood is awesome. We've got a "Plus" with the zip off skirt and we specced zips both sides to ease entry/exit. That's a nice option, but not entirely necessary if you're flexible. We don't always use the zips
