No, not looking to clean my old 45s or LPs, just want a decent product that will rejuvenate some slightly tired-looking vinyl on the side-screens/hood/boot cover.

I had some Mer stuff in my armoury whih I tried, but it didn't seem to make any improvement at all. Just need to get the white bits out of my black vinyl.

Any suggestions?

I have used the autoglym vinyl product on my seven previously. Worth trying, or at least looking at

I just use the sames stuff that I use on my leather seats 'Mer Leather Cleaner'. Saves buying 2 products, works for me.

I use "miracle sponge" for cleaning both leather and vinyl. This, Linky although technically for tyres, provides an "ever so slightly" off-matt finish on all vinyl and lasts ages. Oh, and it smells of coconut so if you had a "Malibu moment" as a child you can feel ever so slightly nauseous whilst you put it on.

Thumbs up for autoglym vinyl cleaner. Good results on the 7 and on a MX5 vinyl roof.

I use the Mer bumper & vinyl cleaner and it refreshes the tonneau and boot cover really well plus is excellent at putting a sheen on carbonfibre too
