But I hadn't seen it and it made me laugh.

BTW about 20 Sevens passed my house in Shieldaig today... was it perchance a blat from here or Blatchat?

One of the best sounds in the world is a Seven from the other side of a Scottish Loch!

It did not make me laugh. There is nothing funny in frightening a person like that.

That was scared in a "Stop it, I like it" kind of way.

So you get into your young son's pride and joy... do you...

a) Pretend it is very fast and scary, just like a mum should
b) Fall asleep, then tell him "Uncle" Dave's BMW is more fun

Noise! what noise officer.
Followed your house build blog during construction and have vaguelly looked for it last twice I have driven thru' Shieldaig. Can you see it from the road/village?
One of our group, who drives a lovelly BEC, without reverse, met one of your district nurses just down the road a mile or so. She refused to back up 10 yds to the passing place when asked nicely and threatened to push him out the road with her car. As the "discussion" progressed, another 6 of us arrived up behind him, now blocking the road. She threatened to call the police as she was "on call"
Eventually we all reversed, pushed back, and let her through. Our friend parted by telling her "she was no credit to her profession". Thought I should warn you before you get your new car, that she and sevens "have history".

You can only see my house if you know where to look! (It's well hidden).

I think I know which District Nurse that was (there are 3).... (only moved here a few months ago). If you have a make of car / colour or anything I'd be interested (pm me if you want).

Really? None at all? While I agree it's a tiny bit cruel there is something mildly amusing about the reaction of someone who willing got in what is after all still only a car. smile

I've driven dozens of people around tracks in Caterhams. Many screamed. Every one of them loved it and wanted to do it again. (Especially in the R500). I'm not sure where David Ball is coming from, but it sure ain't the same place as me. Still, he has a right not to find something funny, and it does, as they say, take all sorts.

ETA, Yes, some of them did scream because of my driving.... before someone else from here who knows me says it! wink

Hi Steve - sorry to take this O/T, but could you find that picture you have of what I think is the A832, photoshopped with 'slow' 'only kidding' in it?

Oh and if it isn't a secret - what's your R500 colour scheme going to be!?

Thanks!!

Chris.
