I'm trying to find out what offset the R500 Superlight wheels are?

Like the ones below

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Caterham_...

And also what the standard tyre sizes are?

My R500 has these, as they are fitted as standard.

The tyres are:

Front Avon CR500 tyre 175/55/13

Rear Avon CR500 tyre 205/55/13

Available from Caterham Direct:

https://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product_info.php?p...

Not sure about the offset though sorry.

The Caterham 8 spokes are 6" front and 8" rear. Offset is ET24. If you go for wider wheels then that offset may not work.
The critical dimension is the backdepth - how far the wheels extend into the car from the hub face. On the fronts this is limited by the wing stay and should be around 113mm. On the rears it should be around 140mm.

Good stuff, thanks for the info.

They're for a Mac#1 Worx that I'm currently building, i'll need to double check the offset etc will fit, but I cant see it being too much of a problem, theyre similar sized wheels to what are designed to be fitted, eg ET30 7x13".

I've just gone down this route in some detail. If you're thinking of fitting wider tyres or rims you'll probably want to reduce the offset by 50% of the increase in tyre/rim section. e.g. a 200 section tyre is 12.5mm wider each side than the standard 175, therefore you'll need to reduce the offset by 12-13.
