Pre 1983 Caterham / Westfield - Shall I ????

Hi to everyone,

it's been a long time since I last posted on pistonheads, but I've been lurking on the forums for more than I can remember!

I am very seriously thinking of bringing a Caterham or Westfield in my homecountry (Greece)! Problem is I can only import cars before 1983, therefore I am looking for pre-83 Caterhams / Westfields.

My question is this: Where can I find pre-1983 cars for sale? What should I expect to pay for a Caterham, and what for a Westfield of that era?

There was a chap from France (IIRC) who had a wanted post for a pre-83 Caterham on Blatchat for a few weeks and he ended up buying one on Pistonheads a few weeks ago. Price-wise I think he paid around £10-11k which sounds around the right ball park for a car of this age in excellent condition. I suppose £8-9k would be more likely for a very decent example, the biggest problem will be finding one though.

Can't help on the Westfield figures though
