Saw this fibreglass aero screen for sale
Unfortunately it is too wide to fit my Super Sprint as is but I am thinking maybe I can cut a section out of the centre so it fits. Anyone done this before?

It doesn't fit because its not fitted to a Caterham. You may find Redline have some of the old JPE style perspex aeroscreens.

The Redline ones are only about £70 from memory, and they look a load better than that

I like it and it is only 35 pounds so I think I will give it a try. It will need some fettling. The ones from Redline are 80 pounds so I can always fall back to that if I dont like the end result.

thumbsnap has stopped doing the nice image hosting that the beta image upload relies upon, so the image is no longer visible. However, having tracked down the pic, that's a Westfield aeroscreen, on a Westfield unless I'm much mistaken.

so why have pictures hosted here via thumbsnap no longer work, but they seem to on the other PH sub forums?

Has the PH Caterham section been infected with the same bugs as Blatchat now?

I have just changed the image to one from ImageShack. Is it visible now?

David,

Yes can see it now.

As has already been said, I think that is a Westfield one, so wont be that easy to fit to a 7 Straightforwardly.

If I was in your position I would spend a bit more cash and get the Caterham Fibreglass version, or one from Seven tweeks etc.

Of course I am biased as I am lucky to have the real CC Carbon Item on my car:-

Blimey Nige! How much did you punch up the saturation on that pic? Lookin' good though.

You're tempting me to get off my ar$e and go prep the aeroscreen for fitting. Weather is pants today....

The car looks great in those colurs Nigel... I went for a clichéd orange/black stripes but starting to regret it now I've seen your car!
