... just had tomorrow's flights from Vegas back to Blighty cancelled...
Anyone else stuck here??? Was at an industry show (NAB) and really hate this place!

Any chance of getting a flight to somewhere in Mainland Europe? looking at www.radarvirtuel.com europe looks pretty much open with transatlantic flights from everywhere bar the UK.

I normally love vegas for the first 48 hours. Not sure I (nor my wallet) would want to be stuck there indefinitely...... We have been discussing contingencies for getting back, presuming we get out there. Favourite so far is banana boat, or flight down to brazil, across the SA, buy some BMW's and drive back long way down style. The latter one for no other reason than it sounds a good crack.

Well I'm on a plane heading to detroit for a supposed connection to LHR. The LHR flight has been cancelled every day way before this time. I figure Delta have some expectation of getting over the pond.

And they were right, the detroit flight left last night and arrived in LHR this morning. There were quite a few frazzled families on it having been stuck over in the US. I was rather lucky. I flew to the US the day before the planes got grounded and took my scheduled flight back the day it all opened up again!
