Ever wondered who has your old Caterham
Discussion
Just curious if anyone on here is the owner of any of my Old Caterhams.
My first one was British racing green with cycle wings KJI 7654 which I toured Europe in 1995 with it and as it was my first, I loved it.
G212 WVU was the second Caterham (Red and Ali) I owned and it was set up really well, I had a lot more fun in it on track.
Ive looked on Drive archive but no results.
Cheers

I can't even remember the damn reg plate of my first one - I think it was P43OBH. BRG with yellow nose and a lovely-sounding crossflow. My garage has never smelled as good as it did when it housed that one. The scent of leather and petrol was so reminiscent of my childhood, when all cars had carbs and ran on 4*.
Cars that have been exported will not have the license plates anymore. You might do better with the chassis number. I have a 1987 x-flow with cycle wings, red and ali in colour and live axle (the scared rabbit sort). Though on reflection would posting chassis numbers be a bad idea?

Forget posting chassis numbers on this forum - there's too many people who'd like to clone a Locost as you original caterham.
IMO even posting Registration numbers is a bad idea:sad:

I understand waht you mean about wanting your car to be repaired properly, but who can you trust with such a rare and unusual car - IMO nobody, you need to oversee the work yourself, yep I know it's a pain in the ass, but it's the only way to ensure the work is done properly. Which is what you want
