Deleted your post I see James smile

How did you get on? In my three sessions I managed to miss most gears and move around in Peter's seat a lot, but I think by the end of the third one I was getting the hang of it. It's only a Caterham after all. Looking forward to getting mine on track.

To answer the original question I found it hard to keep track of who was going well because there were so many new cars I spent most of the time working out who was who, and of course no timing being a trackday. Andy Mac seemed to be the fastest that I was around but his overtaking style didn't prove universally popular in our camp smile

And neither did the Pearce wing removal technique prove popular with Mr Faulds and Mr Leroux judging by their black looks....

Sounds as though it was lively. Is Mr Pearce from the Grads too alongwith Andy Mac ? Strewth - they are right quick probably but you might need a few new wings this year as you say! Heard that Jamie Ellwood is in R300 too this year from the Grads defection. Come on Mr Leroux and co , you need to do your stuff this year and get your foot down and fight off this 'non official' challenge from these new upstarts !

Haha well I think Dave was only squatting in Grads really, he's back racing with us this year. You don't want to be cheering on that Fauldsports lot though - get behind SPY to retain the team championship! biggrin

Not a joking matter Simon - bending a brand new back panel and destroying a wing on a trackday is 100% unacceptable imo. I just hope it was st driving rather than an attempt to make some kind of point.

Not entirely sure what happened, I didn't even get to hear Dave's side of the story. Who was driving? Should be difficult to happen on a trackday. Although I beg to differ on the joking matter, there is no subject too offensive or distasteful for humour eek

humm, not sure I agree with you there young senior. My rear panel looked like a banana come the end of last season. It aint fricking funny. I with stu on that if you've just had a new panel on.

That said I'm pretty sure Dave wouldn't of done it deliberately, and if Jonny had a customer hire in it Dave probably had no idea and the guy braked early.

hmmm, don't know what i did to that post.

It read Team FS wink

We seemed pretty much on it all day, really enjoyed running with the new team mates - we were running very tight, close & fast within a couple of sessions and by the end of the day very consistant aswell.
Cars looked great to, disspointed that my colours have been ripped off by another competitor but there you go.

Looks like we are all going ot be pushed a lot harder than last year, more like the 08 RSA, it is gonna be a cracker.

Andy Mac was running quick, didn't notice many ohters as we pretty much kept ourselves to ourselves. Have to say we looked the quickest out there wink but it is early days yet.

What happened with Dave?

ah...08 RSA....god that was fun. Bring it on JS. smile

Best order up some new wings and some flying googles.

Yeah, have to admit the colour scheme of your secret admirer/stalker is an odd choice. Your car looks a lot better with black cage. Still not as good as mine though smile

Yours will stand out well Paul, fortunately nobody seems to have gone for the same. Loads of orange.

James, don't worry about Gordon's colour clash, the cars should be easy to tell apart on track. His will be the one near the front... tongue out

LOL, based on what i saw on Sunday he's got a lot to get sorted then before the first race. I hear he had a very strong mota in RSB.

As for clash, i think ripoff is more accurate.

Just saw a list of the runners and riders for R300. Buxxer me you are right - its gonna be a bit more competitive than RSA as you say. Hate to say it but those tractor drivers are not too bad and it could be a Grads 1 2 with Macmillan and Ellwood in the field. Anyone running a book on it ?
