Don't 'flame' me chaps. Please!
I've started a website / forum - southernkitcars.com.
Its aimed at owners of all manner of kit car ( non mass produced )across the South. The idea is to promote more intermarque activity, as owners we're all enthusiasts at one level or another, and the site is aimed at bringing folks together for runs/meets. I appreciate that with the ownership of Cats being high there are often local clubs/events to get involved with, however for many owners of other cars that isn't the case. So the idea is to provide a framework for owners to either get involved with Group based events, or alternatively to buddy up with owners of other kit car makes in their area ( easy to do as there's a members map that everyone gets logged onto ). The site has been up and running for 2 weeks and we've picked up 100 members ( its free by the way ). It isn't a chitter chatter site, its more about 'doing'.
Like any other forum if everyone remains silent nothing will happen! But for those that might fancy a bit of company on a run out, or are interested in getting involved with things outside of their own club then the opportunity is there.
Please do take a quick look. The more active members we have the more effective it'll be!!
