Caterham Inspection
Discussion
May go and look at a used Caterham this weekend, at a independent small dealers.
Now I have to be honest and say I'm not too good at what to look for in detail when looking at used cars but have used the likes of the AA/RAC inspections to give any car I'm planning to buy a once over.
Just thinking, would they be the sort of folks that would give a decent report on something as 'specialist' as a Caterham (I suppose all the bits are the same as a 'normal' car, and probably easier to see thinking about it!

Look up your local area of the Lotus Seven Club and speak to the area representative. They can probably put you in touch with a someone local to the car who can view with you or may even know the car. Not easy for this weekend but will help f you intend to view a few over coming weeks.

Stu's suggestion is a good one and chatting to the AR is a good introduction to the models. Their contact details are available from a link at the top of the club website (www.blatchat.com). I'm sure there will be plenty of offers of help to someone looking to buy a car for the first time (or anytime, come to think of it!)
