Le Mans Classic
Discussion
Hi there.
There is a thread on blatchat at the moment on this trip
http://www.blatchat.com/t.asp?id=182203
I went in 2008 and it is a fantastic event, the quality of the cars is awesome and it's not quite so crowded as the normal Le Mans which is better - though the facilities for food and stuff isn't quite so good as a result.
My advice to you is don't think about going, just GO!!! You won't regret it.

Have a look at the thread on the PH organised trip.
Various regions of the L7C are going separately staying either at the circuit, at Le Bounty or in hotels / chateaus nearby. It looks as though speedchills will also organise a slightly cheaper option than the PH trip although you don't get the in-field parking or more importantly the opportunity of track laps.
Although getting more popular the numbers of people are significantly down on the main event hence no problems getting around or buying tickets etc. An altogether more civilsed event but not snobbish in the way the Revival has gone with fabulous racing thrown in.
