I had an optimate on my motorbikes, they were very good. I've also charged car batteries but unsure how they'd handle a car with a flat battery, alarm and tracker.. but well recomended.

Banner batteries shouldn't go completely flat as it shortens their lifespan quite considerably. Much easier to stick a £30 conditioner on and have the car always charged ready to use and the battery kept in top nick, than spend £50-60 every other year on replacing it
