caterham penalty?
Discussion
im sure i remember reading this in a respected magazine, but could someone confirm as it was a while ago? i heard that if you bought a new cat and then sold it within a year of you buying it, you were liable to a £1000 penalty which was payable to caterham. whether or not this was to stop 'que jumpers' or not i cant remember but it seems odd to me. i mean, how would caterham find out anyway? besides which, is there a que for caterhams? bit of a random question i know, but this will bug me if i dont get a definite answer!

Yep, this was in the purchase contract that I signed when I bought mine.
Only applies if you sell to a dealer.
I suspect that it is there to perpetuate the myth that Caterhams do not depreciate.... and is nothing more than a cynical marketing ruse...
