to be fair, it is not an outragously expensive caterham, and it is one hell of a motor. With not too much imagination or cash you could end up with a really lovely car, but going into it with your eyes open is IMO essential.

that's a nice spec car, a bit leggy mayve but with a rebuild 4,000 miles ago should be fine, Jon Vicker is also an extremely nice bloke to deal and very honest, worth considering

Hi TR, just been reading your '23 years of wanting thread' from January. You sound like an old hand now! Interested to hear your experiences though, as I spent a happy couple of hours with Jon at Millwood last Wednesday. I know he wanted to sell me a car, but he could not have been nicer or more helpful and I ended up driving 4 in the end. Alas, the budget got blown away by the last one, but looking forward to getting my first 7 in two weeks time. Can't wait!!
