Hi,

On my caterham the indicators keep blowing the fuse. At first I thought it was the hazard switch and so I changed that but that has not worked. Even with higher amp fuses it still blows.

Occasionally my rev counter gets stuck or the needle skips around, could it be that?

I have no idea! Is this something I can fix myself?

Cheers guys

Dave

Check the indicator housings for water. Years ago I kept blowing fuses because one of the rear light clusters was half-full of water!

Good idea! Like it will take a look. Knowing my luck it wont be that simple! Mind you...its been a problem before in heavy rain....that said I haven't been out in the wet for months!

Cheers

You may be able to check if it's a single indicator that's the problem by removing all 6 bulbs, replacing the fuse and then just putting one bulb back in at a time and seeing which one blows the fuse. Then check the wiring to that bulb. Probably not that simple either.
