Hi guys, new here. I'm looking to buy a CAT probably a Supersport or a Superlight but I'll be driving most of the time in Portugal, what would involve a RHD to LHD conversion on these beauties?

Thx in advance

Loads of work:
1. significant chassis mods to switch pedal boxes and brake/clutch/throttle gubbins
2. probably a new exhaust header or 2
3. definately a new dash/scuttle/bit in front of scuttle that the column goes through
4. steering rack
5. headlights

And that's just for starters..........

They're so narrow that I wouldn't bother. I haven't had many problems when driving my RHD car in Europe or the USA.

Thank you gents! I'm doing my homework on the DO's and DON'T's before I take the plunge.

2 basic options

1 Spend thousands on converting the car

2 Lean over a bit before over taking as you damn near sit in the middle of the car anyway

I wouldn't (and don't) bother.

I have got used to it to the extend that I don't like driving fast on track in an LHD car...

Also don't forget thing like the appolo tank and alternator (possibly even exhaust manifold) are going to be in the way of the steering column

Another vote for "Don't bother"

Starting from scratch is an option

Don't bother. Back off a bit if the vehicle in front is a truck, lean over and away you go. I have been driving my cat in Belgium for two years now and never had a problem.
