Exhaust options for Caterham Academy 2009 car

Hi

I am about to get a 2009 Academy car for the factory (yes, I know, racing has started... long story...). They send me some pics and I was disappointed to find that the exhaust goes through the side of the car but exits at the back (see pic here: back; front and side). What are the options to have a side exit exhaust?

The options would depend on the sporting regs for the championship. I did the accademy back in the good old K-series days so can't really comment

I'd ring caterham if I were you, but I'd suspect that all the cars would be same and the spec they've given you

If I was cynical I could suspect more after sales of rear mounted exhaust systems due to racing incidents, but I'm in a good mood today

If you're in Portugal, there are no options on a new car - the rear-exit exhaust is necessary for all the UE4 emissions regulations.
