Picking up the 500 on sat!!
Discussion
softly softly catchee monkey!
No PSM on this bad boy!
Ask if the engine has already been run in on a dyno or not (a la GT3 engines), otherwise make sure it's got non synthetic oil in it and give it *limited* abuse for 200 miles (but don't p!ss about with being overly gentle with it, modern engines don't benfit from this much at all), then drop the oil and get some full synth in the sump and you're good to go for the full beans!
Check how the suspension has been setup prior to getting too enthusiastic. If you don't like how it handles, this will either be down to driving style or setup.
Also, remember that things will settle down and bed-in in terms of bushes, etc. so it will take a couple of hundred miles or so before it's worth taking anywhere to get setup properly (not back to CC)

Congrats. I remember waiting a week to pick up my Superlight, so god knows how you're feeling waiting for the R500...
Wonder how it will be compared to the Lamborghini in your profile?
Again, bloody well done, not long now and looks like the weekend is dry & sunny - those 200 miles will soon be gone..
Cheers

Looks lovely, are the stripes red like the Caterham demo? They look slightly orange in the pics, but that could be to do with the phone camera.
R500CC's stripes are orange (not red), and it has the CATERHAM text in black. I think it's other pictures that make them look red.BTW, Martin. It's looking sweet, enjoy!
