I'm looking for an R300(with weather gear),neither Caterham or other classified seem to have any for sale. Where have they all gone ?

Should I consider a sigma superlight, older superlight r (190 bhp),or possibly R400 (k series) ? or should I hang on until an R300 turns up (the R300 has enough power for my needs (mainly road, very occasional track day)

You're right they are hard to come by, Nutley seem to have a few, in fact they've had a blue ex racer for about the last 18 months, it's in the Classifieds on PH.

I'm biased, but I can see why no-one wants to sell - R300 is the perfect mix for me - great on track, and amazing on the right road. Good luck with your search!

I looked at it 15 months ago when I started looking for mine. It is a genuine R300 I checked the VIN plate.

Doesn't the link have it as an "EX race car"?

And were any genuine cars VVC?

I wonder if its chassis started life as an R300 and it's changed since?

Were the original olde worlde R300s on the roller TBs, before becoming VVC and single throttle body engined?

Sorry guys, sick of looking for an R300 and don't want to wait 5 months and spend £30k on a new one,so I've bought another lotus instead,Elise SC in Burnt Orange.Ownership scores - 3 Lotus,2 Caterham,2 Porsche.Maybe in a year or two a Duratec R300 might turn up.

It's about time you had a Tiv in that list, or a Ferrari, or even a Noble.

How goes it TS?

Couldn't you have a R400? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1107073.htm
