Raceco vs BTB Exhausts for R400 track use
Discussion
Hi, I'd welcome feedback from anyone who has experience of either exhaust to bring their Caterham noise down to an 'approved level' for track use. Based on recent tests at Silverstone and the Ring I need to reduce by 6-7 db to be allowed back on. Cost's aren't cheap so I'd like to be sure an alternative to my R500 titanium exhaust does the job . . . and without making the car sound sterile. Hard to beat the sonic entertainment when pushing on Thanks Tim

Big for RaceCo from me. Ma-hoosive can, but it appears to keep the noise in check. My induction noise is becoming more of an issue. Don't forget that an engine under load will produce considerably more noise than a static test.careful said:

Raceco every time - lighter, quieter and better made than any other exhaust I've ever seen on a Caterham.
This Simpsons one is quite nice..I've had a couple of cars with Racecos - nicely made piece of kit and I always get a decent cup of coffee when I drop by Ammo's for some more packing
