Best place to find a csr260??

I've looked in the classifieds here and on blatchat but can't find much. Just wondering where i might be able to find one? Caterham uk prices seem optimistic to say the least.Would prefer one with buckets etc as it will be mainly for trackdays.ps Would also consider a nearly new r500.

Mick I've never had a caterham before and your car doesn't look like a standard csr. Is this a cosworth engine or one you've built yourself? I'm assuming it wasn't a factory build.
Does look very nice and i am tempted.

Martin I have seen this car and after seeing the quality I would get Mick to build the vehicle rather than Caterham if I was getting a new 7 and did not want to self build.

You won't regret it martin - i was taken out in CC's own white / orange striped R500 at an event. Even comparing it to a CSR 260 that was there the same day it was mind-bendingly rapid. The gearbox is brilliant too.

I was genuinely shocked at how fast the car was, but equally how user friendly it seemed to be (from the passenger seat) - certainly didn't look all that intimidating, just good fun! (even though we were getting hints of wheel spin along the straight into 4th gear...)

How do i go about getting a ride in yours when you get it?
