I am sure its been asked before but what is the generally agreed best tyre pressure, for a k series car on 15 inch rims. I am using eagle F1's if it matters any. what causes me to ask is the front inner and outer of both tyre edges are wearing faster than the centre. Now it could be hard cornering :-0, It could be geometry, my ackerman angles etc. I seem to remember 13-15 psi as the magic number.

If the tyre is wearing on the edges then the pressures could be too low (assuming no other problem with the set-up). Most people aim for around 20psi hot which means a cold pressure of between 16 and 18 psi depending on conditions.
It might be worth doing a geometry check in case the wear is due to a set-up issue.

Thanks, mine were about 4lb low which is a big percentage I've upped them to 16 and I 'll see how it goes.

I have Prisoner alloys, that I use for touring, with Yoko A539s and run them at 16psi and have never experienced any uneven tyre wear so its a good move. I think below 15psi was preferred by the 16" HPC wheels, especially when run with something hopeless like the Michelin Pilots (or Pileups as some people referred to them).

Cheers
