Hi Guys,

I am trying to get more people to join us at our local Lotus Seven meeting, its this coming Wednesday the 12th at the Brook Inn in Redditch.

I know the weather has been poor of late, but that doesn't stop you coming along in your tin top!!

We need more support for the Worcestershire area meeting, or it will just fizzle away and die, and none of us want that.

So if your in the local area and want to come along please join us on Wednesday from 19:30 onwards, you will be made most welcome.

If you need to know any more about where to find it or any other questions please feel free to email me directly here Nigel's email

Thanks in advance.

Nigel.

Hi Nige,

Yes I was planning to eat there too, I will be there from 7PM, does that work for you also.

Not sure I can manage two brook inn main courses though maybe a main course and a desert!!

See you there.

Fun night last night. It was nice to meet with people we'd previously not really known (in person) as well as reacquaint with those we hadn't seen in a while.

I particularly enjoyed the comparison between the 2 different 911s. What a difference between a 1987 3.2 aircooled and the very latest 3.8 litre 997 Targa. Both perfectly valid cars in the their own right. Tom's was cute and small and yet no doubt a lovely car to drive, whereas Nige's 997 Targa is a (tamed) monster.

I'm pretty sure we established there were not shared components between the two, possibly excluding the key rings. smile

Hope everyone can make it to the Christmas dinner. I think we're going to need confirmations of attendance as well as an indication of what time you'll turn up to enable Nige to book the right number of seats.

Looking forward to it.

Sounds interesting. Lightweight car for a powerful K. See you on 2nd Weds in December then? I think the intention is for a Christmas dinner.

The next Worcestershire meeting is this Wednesday the 10th at 19:30 at the usual venue of the Brook Inn Redditch.

All are welcome, so feel free to come along and join us for a few beers and Caterham related chit chat.

Let me know if you want to join us for dinner and I will book the table accordingly!!

Cheers!!

I am so hideously ill, I'm not sure I'll make it. At best I'd be coughing all over the place, so it might be fairer on everyone else if I stayed away.

Sorry. I'd say it was very bad timing but I've been this ill for over a week now with no sign of an improvement.

Guys,

Sorry to let the team down, but I will not be attending the Brook Inn meting as planned now.

I am currently at home in bed, on doctors orders, as I have manage to come down with bronchitis.

I did not book a table for dinners, as I only heard back from John to say he was definitely coming along.

I am sure that the girls at the brook inn would still be happy to accommodate who ever fancy's going though!!

Sorry I cant make it this time.

Next time I hope to have the R500 available for viewing too!!

Cheers for now,

Nige.

You too? The baby has bronchitis, which is quite disturbing to listen to.

I'm over the worst of mine, although still can't hold anything down for long. Reckon I'll be out of action for another few days yet.

Hope you're over it soon.
