Finally got the new engine installed and plumbed in today.

yep you are correct.
Its a combined radiator and oil cooler, with the oil cooler section on the right hand side of the assembly.
The oil cooler connects to the oil tank and in turn to the dry sump pump on the engine.
Out of interest, I have been doing some run tests this week, and I know its cold outside right now, but the engine seems to sit quite happily at 80C when stationary, which means that the fan does not even kick in, so it looks like the engine will keep operating at fairly low temp.
