Anyone know how much a bare live axle body/chassis weighs?

No fibreglass, no wishbones, no trim, no instruments, no oily bits.

Just the bare panelled chassis.

Not much . . . about 70kg I reckon. People carry them on normal tin-top roofracks.

It's an 800 mile drive home - and I have done it four times.

If located correctly the fuel consumption is +15% if uncorrectly +60%.

Only to guess where, move and test...
