Hallo, i`m from Romania, my name is Andrei and i want to buy Lotus seven replica. First sorry for my english! Can you advise me about what kind of car should i buy? my budget is very low, aroud 1500-2000 pound, and i must also ship the car to Romania and converted to left hand drive. So i look for an unfinished or in a poor state car.

You should look at some of the kits from other manufacturers that support builds from old road cars such as the MX5 or Sierra. Basic chasis kits start from less than £500 and you can source the secondhand/reconditioned bits to complete. Try searching on Locost, Tiger, RAW, Robin Hood, Westfield, Locoblade, Dax or Quantum.

Unfinished projects do go for silly cheap money- but usually for a reason, keep scouring ebay and good luck.
