Tho can't offer to do Oulton myself, as I'm returning from tracking at Monza hurrah can't wait
Could offer you a deal to Zolder 28/7 LOT if you are booked, I'm tracking there & taking truck as linking to a job, would have a spare place out, full on the return tho.

Thanks for the offer but I can't do the dates. Must be expensive to get someone to take it to the track for me? I must admit the drive home is always naff, no radio, no comfy seats and I struggle to eat my bag of minstrals through my helmet hahah!Dave, no not the cheapest thing in the world esp for one car, all depends where you live & what track etc, never done a 7 for this as they mainly trailer themselves, the type of folks who often do it want to track 3 cars so drive one & get the other pair transported etc, or for Euro stuff they fly in & out & just get cars taken out there & back.
Whats the pace like on L7 days?
Filling in the form & dunno most what group to tick. Normal track days I do are open pit, & if not I go in fast as prefer to duck out the way of the quick stuff, rather than getting frustrated with slower cars with bad manners in intermediate.
Trouble is not yet tracked the 7 & not really sure how it, & how I will go in it- pace wise.
If however the fast group on an L7 days is jam packed with R500 CSR260s & mental Vx's or Duratecs etc slicked up & really on it, I doubt I'll pass anyone all day, & frankly my ego cant take that so maybe inters is a better bet & maybe few more cars of a similar pace?

Quickish, certainly. But on the whole very couteous and well behaved (apart from the odd racer "testing" - nice apex overtake Taran Las, so sad you ended up in the KL a few laps later )
Been a few years, but I reckoned on being a solid-ish Inter in mixed groups, but found the Club inter a bit fast for my little ol' Crossflow. So would drop to green at BH GP to preserve my sanity
Being overtaken by Arnie's brown thing on slicks was what made me decide to upgrade !

I've done this day for the past 4 years. It's a great track day and very well run. The GP circuit is one of the best tracks around.
But, if in the blue or red groups, it's damm fast compared to other track days. Everyone in these groups is giving it large, with good kit and experience. I have an R400 on ACB10's, done 20+ tracks days and blue is 'reasonable' for me.
If in doubt, go for the green group.
Drop me an email if you are doing to attend - we can share a garage.
