R1 carbs on Kent engine

my caterham consumes a lot of petrol (12 litres per 100 km on road ; during track days: 1 litre per lap on the bugatti track !)
I think carbus R1 is a more recent than the Weber and are more efficient (less consumption, control the flow of air), more powerfull.
it seems that this fitting is possible on a few cars (Mini, Aston, Lotus Elan etc.)
