Hi looking for a track day car

and all i can find is pointless 0-60 mph times

Has any one got the 0-100mph times of a standard R300, R400 and the new R400

Unless the track you are planning on having days at is entirely straight, or you are planning on driving the whole circuit flat out, I think that you will find 0-100 times are every bit as pointful as 0-60 times.

its a very good general indicator of sense of acceleration and roughly what level of "fast" a car occupies


the first time i drove a car that did the ton in 10 seconds was in a 5 litre griffith .... and it most definitely felt a fair bit faster than ~12 sec cars that I had owned or driven e.g. Esprit S4S. Then when i first drove a sub 9 seconder (R500) that was again, a notch higher. And of course if you go to the next level and manage to catch a ride in soemthing that will run 6-7 seconds then you'll know all about it !

I'd bet against a real (standard) Griff 500 doing it in less than 10s.
