Hi looking for a track day car
and all i can find is pointless 0-60 mph times
Unless the track you are planning on having days at is entirely straight, or you are planning on driving the whole circuit flat out, I think that you will find 0-100 times are every bit as pointful as 0-60 times.and all i can find is pointless 0-60 mph times
its a very good general indicator of sense of acceleration and roughly what level of "fast" a car occupies
the first time i drove a car that did the ton in 10 seconds was in a 5 litre griffith .... and it most definitely felt a fair bit faster than ~12 sec cars that I had owned or driven e.g. Esprit S4S. Then when i first drove a sub 9 seconder (R500) that was again, a notch higher. And of course if you go to the next level and manage to catch a ride in soemthing that will run 6-7 seconds then you'll know all about it !
