Trackday noise
Discussion
SLr at Donnington in a reapckable, after burning a lot of it out....., was at 98.8 on the drive by . Not good after about 15 laps, got black flagged.
It would be "lucky" if you get away with it ! You can always try lifting when you get near the meter, but I was warned that "they " look out for that .....

Two bad experiences.
The first, Wheeltorque, went into liquidation, and still owe me money !
The second was a Caterham Cars event, where the Caterham corporate rides ignored the "no overtaking" rule even in corners, all the way through the green session. It was my first trackday and very nearly put me off the whole thing.
The usual suspects, Bookatrack, Easytrack, Goldtrack have all been great.

BHP are doing a day at Croix in April. I'll be there if I don't sell the car by then (otherwise I'll be buying something daft to drive instead.) Its cheap, and the noise limits seem not to be enforced (says he of 117.4dBs)
Croix is a good circuit where power makes little difference to your lap times (or thats my excuse). Generally good run off areas and hard to crash if you really screw things up.
BHP days offer a good standard of driving, friendly bunch of people and many extracurricular activities which make it as much a short break as a track day. Good deals on Speedferries too @ under £50.
Get in touch with SYMMO on Blatchat, he's the ringleader on this, or contact David White at www.bhptrackdays.co.uk
