I've finished pretty much everything on the engine now but I've got these wires left over! I think a pair are for the top of the brake fluid resevoir but I can't find anything about it in the guide (maybe I missed it). Can someone tell me what's what please?
The colours in case you can't tell from the photo are as follows, Big plug - yellow/green and yellow/green. Smaller - black & black/white, black & black/yellow.
Thanks.

Here's the end of the big plug:

The 'big plug' goes into the inertia switch, the 2 straight female spades are for the brake mc, and the 2 flags are either water temp or oil temp - only one will be connected if you don't have a stack.

Don

If you have access to a multimeter, you can see if these contain a 12v feed, or are only for completing a circuit from a sender, etc. This may help you narrow things down.

Alternatively, get a copy of the circuit diagram, and follow back all the wiring from the various senders/sensors. This will also allow you to gain familiarity with how the loom is put together (may be worth peeling back some of the loom wrapping at the sender end of the loom to see what colour wires are used). The wiring diagram should also help you identify the plugs in the photos.

Let us know how you get on.

ahhhh..

So the last two are for oil or coolant temp. Now I don't remember anything in the assembly guide about coolant temp sensor or oil for that matter. And I don't remember hooking any of these up. Where is the coolant temp sensor on an Academy car?
