That's them ^^

You probably want this if it's for a seat.

Went to Caterham Midlands today!!
I looked at doing this and thought i would get Caterham to do it as i wanted some other bits done at the same time!

I am so glad i got them to do it! i have a very neat and tidy seat that fits perfectly! I cant see how anyone could do this on there own and get it right! it was only £175 for them to do it including the labour and it was actually quite good as i got to talk to the mechanics and get some advice at the same time!! And get pedals set up etc..

Good Luck trying it!!

rofl Well if that includes the labour, that's OK rofl

It isn't a one man job as you need to be sat in the car and have an assistant pour the mix into the bin bag but it's not exactly rocket science either!

Did this include some form of covering, or was that just a bare foam seat?

Spoke to Caterham about this a while ago and as they say, it could take several attempts to get the seat but there is only one charge so I suppose there is some justification in the amount they charge.

Your right it isnt rocket science! But, i have a clean well made seat in 1 go and know that it is just right! I thought i would have a go but for £175 i thought it is easier to get them to do it! In all it took 3 hours or so. I think it is a reasonable price when you take into account cost of materials is £50 ish and odds and ends, tape etc. Then time. It has been covered in tape and Simon went through what i need to do if i want to add some foam etc.. Also got loads of tips from the guys about other things in the car etc.. Those alone are worth a couple of hundred quid in savings. I am sure most will be covered on our set up day, but it was nice to have some one explaining bits and showing me where they were and what to do!
Oh and as side note, i didnt get one bit of foam on me, the car or on anything else than the bag, apparently it is a right pain to get off!

Cool - if you're happy and comfortable in the car that's the main thing. The foam seats do tend to shrink after a while and need re-doing once a year or so.

The foam isn't a right apin to get off, it's worse than that - I still have a blob of it on my garage wall smash

Have you guys got a calendar yet?

Got provisional dates! One event is different for each group so 6 events there will be 2 grids!

May change! Depend if Bernie decides he wants us to support F1 this year!! He may not have anyone else that does!!! :-)

Just made a seat one my tod, well, the four year old helped a bit. It's easy and took about three hours. I figured i would try it myself and if it didn't work, would get it done properly. Anyway, looks ok to me and feels pretty comfy.
